L appreciation post Nuramago OVA

Hi y’all,well the Nuramago fanbase have finally some OVAS,so I shall proceed with a mini review as I did not do one in ages..

Well apparently it was released later,but never late than never. So here is the story about our Nidame-sama. Yup I shall be blasting my Sarabande and Wagner for this.

Basically it just revolved around Rihan,still heartbroken by Yamabuki’s disappearance goes by his duties as Nidame-sama to establish Nurarihyon’s dream of co-existence between human and ayakashi. However during a special encounter with Setsura,he slowly learns about Yamabuki’s fate.

I say that it was a nicely done OVA and I am impressed. I mean like the “Not Bad” GIF type of impressed. From all the OVAS I watched,this was pretty much the most heartbreaking OVA ever (aside from Tsubasa Tokyo Chronicles OVA). I always know my precious baby Rihan for being the most kickass character. Him being that vulnerable and still think Otome would be back anytime soon is just so damn heartbreaking. I think I nearly ugly-sob from watching this OVA.

Of course now to Setsura,besides having obligeratry fan service for the OVA (She kinda of remind me of Brigette Bardot,in her assets ). She is not a nasty B***h as seen in the episodes who wanted to ‘steal the head’s lips “. She actually cared for Otome despite her jealously even at her dying moment and it was really admirable for me.

Asides from the seriousness (including a darn frightening scene of Rihan nearly killing Setsura,I mean I was like WHUTTT ) There is some comedy to lighten up that otherwise bleak OVA including some moe-fanservice of little Rihan.

Animation-wise I am impressed like crazy,it looks really flawless and the ink-strokes are excellent.

Overall,it’s a great OVA. Sad that Shiibashii-san have to wrap up that series quite quickly but glad that OVA help to question the burning questions of the fans. Well we have to watch til Janurary for Nurarihyon’s OVA. So I am looking forward to it :)
